I was adopted as a child, along with my brother, by loving parents who instilled in us the values of kindness, honesty, responsibility, and hard work. Because of my personal experience with adoption, I have a deep understanding of the love, courage, and the hope that adoption brings to a child and the birth family.

I was raised in a small town where community mattered, and I have carried those values with me into my adult life. Today, I live in a warm and welcoming home in the east metro area, where I'm surrounded by close friends, a supportive community, and plenty of opportunities for adventure and growth.

I am excited to open my heart and home to a child through adoption. As a single mom, I know it takes a village - and I am blessed to have an amazing circle of friends and family who will be a big parts of our lives.

My promise to any expectant mother considering adoption; Your child will always know how much they are loved by you and me. They will grow up in a home filled with laughter, learning, encouragement, and unconditional love. They will always be reminded that being adopted makes them unique and special - not different, but celebrated.

Thank you, for taking the time to learn about me. I admire your strength and courage in making this decision, and I would be honored to be considered as an adoptive parent.

Our Letter To You

I live in Minnesota, my life is filled with love, respect and understanding of what adoption means - because I've lived it myself.  I would be honored to expand my family through adoption.  It takes a village to raise children, I have a strong support system with generational experience in raising a family.  I live close to work, in a small quiet community next to a park with plenty of walking trails.  I enjoy spending time outside exploring State and National Parks, we have a lot of recreational opportunities in our area.  We have exceptional educational opportunities for our family.  Thank you for considering me to be a part of your child's journey.  I would be honored to walk this journey with you, and to ensure that your child knows how deeply they are loved - by you, me, and by everyone who will be a part of their life.

Our Parenting Style

We have a huge extended family with strong generational influences.  Being adopted myself, I see the importance of successful parenting with consistency.  I like to live a proactive lifestyle incorporating my everyday with having balance. This style combines clear expectations, reasonable boundaries, and warmth with responsiveness to a child's needs, fostering independence and self-reliance.

Our Story

Our Home

In our town, I appreciate that small town atmosphere where things move at a slower pace.  I enjoy living in an area where everything my family needs to close to home.  I really like that we are a close-knit community with low crime and an abundance of opportunities that makes kids become great adults, because they see neighbors help each other and come together when needed. Kids learn by example, so when a community comes together and helps each other our kids learn morals, values, responsibility, accountability and integrity which helps teach them to be successful adults.

Our Family

I have been in the Law Enforcement community for 20 plus years, able to retire in 8 years.  I've learned from my career and experience that family is everything and our kids need a strong foundation to be successful.  Being adopted, I received that same strong foundation with traditional values and will instill the same values within my family.
