Ethan & Aubrie

Introduction
Hi! We’re Ethan and Aubrie, this summer we will celebrate five years of marriage. While we haven’t been able to have children on our own, this journey has led us to seek God through prayer and thoughtful consideration. Through that process, we’ve found peace in the decision to pursue adoption. We are excited for what’s ahead, trusting that God will guide us to the child meant for our family. Our greatest desire is to welcome a child into our home and provide a life filled with love and support!

Hi! I wanted to share a little bit about myself. I grew up in a Christian home where going to church was a regular part of life. My parents are still happily married, and I have three older siblings, so family has always been really important to me.
I’ve been married to my wife, Aubrie, for almost five years now, and she’s truly my best friend. We love doing life together and building a home centered on faith, love, and family.
I’m a teacher, and I genuinely love what I do. Being able to pour into students and be part of their growth is something I don’t take for granted. I’d describe myself as loyal, determined, and passionate in the things I care about. I’m also strong in my faith, and I try to live that out daily. I’m naturally social and really value building relationships and community with the people around me.
Outside of work, I love to sing, especially country music! I’m also part of the worship team at our church, which is something that means a lot to me.

Hi, I’m Aubrie! I'm a wife and teacher who cares deeply about people and the kind of life that’s built in the in-between moments.
I’m naturally drawn to connection and try to show up for people in a steady, thoughtful way. Whether it’s in my classroom or in everyday life, I want people, especially kids, to feel comfortable, understood, and like they truly belong.
I’m a big believer in keeping life simple and meaningful. I love slow days, familiar routines, and spending time with my husband, and I find a lot of joy in the small, ordinary moments that often go unnoticed. I’d choose a cozy night in or a long, easy conversation over just about anything.
At my core, I’m loyal, grounded, and intentional. I value consistency, show up for the people I love, and try to live in a way that feels genuine and steady.
I’m so glad you’re here. 🤍

Our Parenting Style
We have been fortunate to gain meaningful experience volunteering in our community, supporting children and their families. Through these experiences, we have come to believe that children truly thrive when they feel safe, heard, and deeply loved, this will be at the heart of our approach to parenting. Our goal is to create a nurturing and supportive environment where our children feel secure and valued. We are committed to guiding them with patience and care, offering a gentle hand that lifts them up when they fall while also teaching them to grow into kind, respectful, and responsible individuals.
Our Story
Our Home
Our home is calm, welcoming, and grounded in routines that help children feel safe and secure. We live in a small, quiet neighborhood with wonderful neighbors who contribute to a strong sense of community. Our home offers plenty of yard space for outdoor play, along with many nearby parks to explore and enjoy together. We are excited and ready to welcome a child into this environment, where they will be surrounded by love, supported through quality time, and encouraged to grow within our home and community.
Our Nursery
Our Pets
We have two dogs named PJ and Scout. While they are both black and white, they are not biologically related. PJ is about two months older than Scout, but they are both four years old. We also have a cat named Meredith, who is 14 years old.
All of our pets have their own unique personalities! They love having kids around the house, whether it’s playing together or patiently waiting for a snack to drop. They bring so much joy and energy into our home.
Our Family
Family is everything to us, and it is at the center of the life we hope to provide for a child. We know that any child who joins our family will be surrounded by a strong support system of people who are deeply invested in their life, people who will show up, celebrate milestones, offer encouragement, and provide unconditional love.
We are blessed with nieces and nephews ranging from newborn to 15 years old, each bringing their own energy and personality into our family. They are already excited at the thought of welcoming and loving another child. We look forward to include a child in moments from holiday gatherings, birthdays, everyday visits, and all the little memories in between.
More About Us
We are both teachers with over seven years of experience each, and caring for children has always been at the heart of who we are. Every day, we have the privilege of working with children from all different backgrounds, supporting not only their academic growth but also their emotional and social development. These experiences have shaped us into patient, compassionate, and attentive caregivers who understand that every child is unique and deserves to feel seen, supported, and valued. We are excited to bring this same dedication, patience, and love into our role as parents, providing a home where your child will be supported, encouraged, and cherished every step of the way.
