Chris and I have both chosen careers in teaching and social work, following in our mothers' footsteps. Chris teaches high school computer science and coaches cross country and track and field. I'm continually impressed by his natural ability to connect with his students; they appreciate his non-judgmental approach and see him as a trusted confidant. Working in the same school, I often hear glowing feedback about him, which excites me about his future as a father. I have no doubt he will bring the same kindness and nurturing spirit to our child.
